As we discussed on Friday, these are general rates that are subject to change in 2023. Aside from the rates, I would like to add a few thoughts: • ATG (Aircraft Technologies Group) has been sourcing aviation technicians for over 20 years. Throughout that time, we have established very positive working relationships with the major OEMs and MROs throughout North America and overseas. • We pre-validate our tech candidates prior to forwarding them to you. This saves you time and gives you the confidence that the candidates you receive are worthy of your consideration. • ATG has developed an apprenticeship program to help new techs transition to ‘the real world’. • We offer customized on-site technician training. Several companies have used this option to save time and money. • We are headquartered in BC. We have an excellent pool of Canadian-based candidates at any given time. CDN hourly billing rates: – Licensed AME (M): $60 – Apprentice AME : $35-45 – Structures, licensed or experienced unlicensed: $55-65 – Avionics, licensed & unlicensed: $51 and up – Painter & paint prepper: $40 and up – NDT, do you have folks with Level 2 or Level 3 in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic or X-Ray and if so, what rates?: We have had access to a limited number of folks. We would use a trusted 3rd party. Additionally, what are you per diem rates, both food and accommodation, and are they applicable to everyone or just folks who live away from the work location. IE, we work in Abbotsford, if someone is within XXX kms of here, are per diems still applicable? We typically offer food/accommodation to individuals who live away from the work location. Using your example, people who live outside (ie-100km) the work location, the per diem is normally paid. This area is subjective. At the appropriate time we would sit down with you to determine rates that make sense. At the end of the day, we want to ensure that we have a package that will attract high quality individuals. It should be noted, that if we come to agreement with a per diem rate and find that there is an opportunity to reduce the rate, we would be willing to review that with you. I understand that you are in the very early stage of your contract evaluation. I hope ATG will have an opportunity to discuss what we can offer Conair moving forward. I spoke with Brad (DOM) at Conair Friday afternoon regarding his request for information surrounding the upcoming expiration of their current 10-year single source contract with Saxon. Key points: • They currently have 72 contract techs. The figures change over the course of a year. Their winter season is busier as they are working on aircraft mods for the upcoming summer season. • They usually have a minimum of 35-40 contract techs on hand throughout the year. • Conair has two main business divisions: o Conversion – Dash 8 conversion to water tankers (majority of tech work is structures) o Fleet – Is seasonal. Approx breakdown: 45%-Mechanic / 45%-Structures / 10%-Avionics. • They are looking to determine if they want to maintain a single source contract or open it up to multiple suppliers. • The key benefits of a single source to Conair: o Contract workers from the same supplier eliminates hour wage differences that are found with multiple agencies working with one customer. o Positive workplace culture. Conair is pleased with the current worker environment. o Working with one supplier is more efficient/easier. • Since they have an opportunity to review options with the expiration of the current contract, they want to determine the benefits of a new contract arrangement. • Their contract expires around mid-2023 and Brad is obtaining market data prior to actively participating in new negotiations which are expected to start in the first quarter of 2023. • He did confirm that they offer a per diem and meals/accommodations for individuals who live beyond 125 km from Abbotsford. o I told him that our current rate information will not include the PD, travel and accommodation. I confirmed that we would use market data to confirm the right number at the appropriate time.  Brad was fine with that. • Brad acknowledged that they prefer to pay a higher bill rate for quality techs than the other way around. • I mentioned our SAA and customized training programs. He had interest with the information discussed. Received an email from Brad requesting information about our hiring program. They will be in the process of renewing their tech recruiting provider and was following up from our original contact earlier this year. I will review our program and get some answers from Brad before we submit a proposal.
